Community Hospitality and Support
One of the most remarkable aspects of the South African stage was the warm hospitality and kindness of the South African people. Along the route, local residents, community members, and small establishments offered encouragement, assistance, and support. During this period, more than 34 accommodations and lodges provided hosting support, creating a continuous chain of hosting from the first day to the final day in South Africa, allowing the mission to continue sustainably across long distances.
They also offered cold drinks during hot days on the road, while some restaurants provided hospitality. In other instances, shop employees showed kind gestures by supporting purchases or offering small acts of generosity.
Throughout the journey, some individuals also chose to walk alongside Mr. Alaya, even for short distances, expressing their support for the message of peace that he carries.
This level of community generosity demonstrated the spirit of solidarity and goodwill that exists within South African society and reflected the broader human connection that brings us together as people from all around the world.
The care, kindness, and genuine support shown by the accommodations along the journey were truly remarkable. Each place offered its own special touch in hosting Alaya, making every stop meaningful in its own way.
From the first day to the final day in South Africa, a continuous chain of hosting was formed, proving that we all share one message, even across different places and communities.
