Showcasing Local Heritage Through Artisan Excellence
Founded by Hike With Me and developed in collaboration with local producers and community leaders, Made in Petra is a cultural branding initiative dedicated to promoting and elevating Petra’s locally made products. Centered in the historic Al-Ji Heritage Village an authentic reconstruction of Wadi Musa’s traditional market the project will launch a 200m² exhibition and retail space to connect Petra’s artisans with the world. From handcrafted goods and heritage crafts to gourmet products, Made in Petra empowers over 20 local producers in its first phase, offering them services such as packaging, product development, marketing, and online sales. This platform acts as a bridge between visitors and Petra’s creative soul, enriching the tourism experience while fostering local economic growth and cultural pride. By blending tradition with innovation, Made in Petra brings the heart of Petra into every product.
