Mobile Medical Support in Petra
As part of our commitment to creating safer and more enriching experiences for visitors, Hike With Me proudly supports the PetraCare initiative an innovative project by Aljanoub Charity Association that brings essential mobile medical services to Petra, Jordan’s crown jewel of tourism. With Petra’s vast terrain and high footfall, tourists are often exposed to physical challenges such as dehydration, sunstroke, and muscle fatigue. PetraCare addresses these issues head-on by stationing two mobile clinics throughout key areas in Petra, including the Treasury, the Siq, and Qasr al-Bint. Staffed by licensed medical professionals and first responders, these units provide rapid response to emergencies and offer preventive education through awareness campaigns. This initiative not only enhances tourist safety but also fosters a culture of care and preparedness, setting new standards in health focused heritage tourism. PetraCare is more than just a service it’s a movement to make Petra a safer, healthier, and more welcoming destination for all.
